This website
The website does not request your GPS, microphone or travel history. It has no advertising tracker or third-party analytics added by us. Language and motion preferences may be saved locally in your browser. Cloudflare processes connection information to deliver and protect the site. Clicking an email link opens your mail app; it does not submit a form to this website.
Location and routes in the app
With device permission, Ro7a checks the current position when the map opens and uses location during navigation. Requested routes and searches are processed by Ro7a services. Shared links contain the destination you choose to share; they are not live-location tracking.
Saved data and an optional account
Saved places and preferences are kept on the device. Optional Google sign-in is used for contributor identity. Core exploration and navigation do not require it. Server account sessions and a pseudonymous profile are retained until expiry or account deletion. Google has its own privacy terms.
Assistance and voice input
With the relevant consent, search text, bounded route-choice facts or a voice recording may leave the device. TypeSafe Jev supports constrained decisions; Cloudflare Whisper transcribes a voice clip. Voice input starts through an explicit control. The current transcription flow does not persist audio in Ro7a storage. Included Arabic guidance clips are local and need no per-turn speech-generation request. Provider processing has its own policies.
Road reports and sensing
Reports contain a location and category and require confirmation. Road sensing is on by default with an explanation and a Privacy switch in the owner test version. During navigation it can send a road point, direction, coarse time and jolt measurements for review. Per-place pseudonyms are used; the current sensing store removes events older than60 days. Detection is advisory and does not automatically change legal road access.
Optional journey research
The separate journey-research option is off by default. When enabled, it can send bounded, coarse section observations to study timing and route quality. You can stop participation and request deletion using the available controls.
Retention, protection and choices
Different functions keep different records. Feedback and support email remain with the team for handling and follow-up; account data remains until deletion, and reports expire by category. Infrastructure backups can delay final erasure. No system can guarantee absolute security. Use app controls and the deletion page, or contact support for a specific request.
Providers and updates
Ro7a uses Cloudflare, its OVH-hosted services, open map data and optional providers described above. Optional Google map/sign-in functions have separate boundaries. This early product and this notice can change; the date on this page identifies this version.
